The website needed to showcase and draw in the audience, so we added parallax video as the main banner featuring the client’s best photos. This effect makes the photos look 3D and alive. These images chosen worked really well, especially the wedding photo of the flowers being frown in the air. It really captures the moment. Not only is it more visual than a static image but also entices the user to explore more. Below the video is a selection of the client's best photos from the portfolio, giving a great representation on the landing page.

The key feature of the website was to showcase the client's photos in a visual, modern and functional way. The portfolio needed to look like an art gallery so each row went in odd and even to break up the images and create a nice flow. As for the design, the website was given a dark colour background so that the photos really stood out. To help usability we added a category filter to help users find what they are looking for. We also added a 'show more' button to allow the user to view at their own pace and save time on loading.
One of the web pages is the 'Client page' where users can log in and view their recent album. Not only can they view all their photos but they can also buy them online with the drop down print option. The key was to allow users to have easy access and usability when viewing and buying photos.
"I am over the moon with the website Lantec designed for me. Joanne listened to the ideas I had and what I wanted from a website. What she came back with exceeded my expectations. It is modern, original and easy to navigate. The site is very easy to maintain which was very important to me, allowing me to update, organise and blog so content is always current. I have definitely seen a huge increase in both interest in my work and bookings since my new website went live." – Martin Simpson, photographer for Images by Martin
